My love of skiing and ski racing can be fully credited to the Northwestern Alpine Ski Academy.  I enrolled into the race academy in the 5th grade and eventually earned state recognition throughout my high school career. I continued coaching during college including eleven seasons with Dan Janowiak at the annual fall camp in Colorado.

Career opportunities would later take my husband, Matt, and me to the Grand Rapids area for five years.  During that time, I worked in the fitness and medical fields as a Wellness Coordinator and my husband as a Welding Engineer. Truly missing our home and family in Northern Michigan, we later to returned in 2010 where we have been ever since.

I hold a BA in Health Education and Business Administration and a BS in Nursing. I am currently employed as a registered nurse in the Cardiothoracic Surgical Unit at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

My husband Matt and I welcomed our first Son, Levi, in April of 2013. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, cooking, church activities, and Crossfit. With many exciting and busy things happening in our family, I am still very excited to continue offering my coaching experience to NASA as needed.

I look forward to seeing old and new faces on the slopes this season and continue enjoying such a fantastic winter sport!
